CUROSURF 240 mg suspension for endotracheopulmonary instillation.

 

 

  1. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION


CUROSURF 240. One 3.0-ml vial contains:
Porcine pulmonary surfactant: 240 mg.
Composition per ml of suspension: 80 mg/ml of phospholipid fraction of porcine lung, equivalent to 74 mg/ml of total phospholipids and 0.9 mg/ml of low molecular weight hydrophobic proteins.

CUROSURF is a natural surfactant, prepared from porcine lung, which contains nearly exclusively polar lipids, in particular phosphatidylcholine (around 70% of total phospholipid content) and close to 1% of specific low molecular weight hydrophobic proteins, SP-B and SP-C.

 

 

  1. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM

 

Endotraqueopulmonar suspension instillation.
A single-dose vial contains a sterile suspension of white to yellowish color to Endotracheopulmonary use.

 

 

  1. INDICATIONS

 

Treatment of newborns with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS).
